Tribute to Future is a program of the Odebrecht Group, carried out by the Odebrecht Foundation, to enable its participants to invest in actions that take rural education of quality and opportunities for professional development to the region’s young talents.

In Brazil, taxpayers can direct up to 6% of their tax to social projects supported by the Tribute to Future, when filling in the complete form of their Annual Income Tax Return Adjustment. Nothing more is paid for that; if the participant is entitled tax refund, the amount that was invested is added to the sum, adjusted for inflation by the Selic rate. In case of tax payable, the amount is deducted from the accrued installment.

The investments made through Tribute to Future go to the Fund for Infancy and Adolescence Rights (FIA) of the municipality of President Tancredo Neves (BA), in the Southern Lowlands of Bahia, which transfers the amounts to the Rural Family House (CFR) and to the Rights and Citizenship Institute (IDC). These projects are part of the Development and Integrated Growth Program with Sustainability for the Southern Bahia Lowlands Environmental Protection Areas Mosaic – PDCIS.
